Aishwarya Rai has set the tongues wagging again with her new photoshoot for a jewellery brand. While some are crooning her praise, the others have a suspicious brow raised.

The 38-year-old actress has been frowned upon, sniffed at by her critics for her post-pregnancy weight which she’s lugged around to some international events like Cannes Film Fest as well. All this while, Aishwarya Rai didn’t react to the flak, saying that haters didn’t matter in her scheme of things.

Now, eight months after the birth of her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai has faced the camera again for a commercial by a south jewellery brand. While she does look slimmer in the photos put up by the brand on its facebook page, skeptics feels the images of the slimmer Aishwarya have been photoshopped.

In the new pics, Aishwarya Rai is seen posing in a red lehenga and heavy jewellery.

While her face looks radiant, there’s still a hint of the plumpness that became the talking point for her bashers.
